The A-crane can be folded away on this free-fall davit. The system is fixed on the open deck and is suitable for launching a fully manned boat from the stowed position to the water level by means of gravity (free-fall).
The system is suitable for lowering a boat, including the full complement of persons, due to gravity from the stowed position to the sea level. In case of power failure or malfunctioning of the electric system, hoisting can also be realised manually. For this purpose the winch has been equipped with a crank handle square shaft.
D-NP.SP - davit of normal pivot type, semi-gravity driven with hydraulic stored power (accumulator-loaded).
The system operates on hydraulic stored power in addition to gravity lowering and electrical hoisting of the boat.
D-NP.MP - davit of normal pivot, semi-gravity driven with mechanical stored power (spring load).
The system is suitable for lowering a boat to embarkation position at ship side by gravity with additional support from spring loaded cylinder.
If the available space on board, especially the height, is very limited, the telescopic davit is often the solution to leave given deck arrangement undisturbed.
For platforms or very big lifeboats on cruise vessels. The davit system is fixed on a free deck and is suitable for lowering a fully manned boat from the stowed position to the water level by means of gravity.
Are mostly used on small to medium passenger vessels and ferries.The pivot arm is lowered from a raised storage position by means of rollers in a track. From the low position the pivot arm will lower the boat to the embarkation position.
Slewing type davit with hydraulic and/or electric drive for rescue boats, liferafts, Suez boats & storage handling. The system is also suitable for lowering a raft including the full complement of persons, due to gravity, from the embarkation position to the water level.
For rescue boat with single or double arm, optional with docking head. Hydraulic “stored power" will luff the davit to lowering position, gravity will do the lowering. Both motions can be controlled from either the deck position or from inside the boat.

For fast rescue boats or rescue/work boats with stored hydraulic power. If the available space on board especially the height, is very limited, then the telescopic davit is often the solution that leaves the given deck arrangement unchanged.
Launching and recovery of the life raft are done by a winch with manual drive. Lowering of a fully loaded life raft is done by gravity. In case of more than one raft the winch drum has a special “quick return" function for fast hoisting of the empty hook.
The system is suitable for launching by gravity and recovery of liferafts, including complete equipment and launching crew, by electric or manual drive.
