The Gravity Corer allows researchers to sample and study sediment layers at the bottom of lakes or oceans.

The main assembly includes the following: 

1 A Stainless Steel core head with detachable Lead Weight Ballast 

2 Stainless Steel core barrel 

3 Stainless Steel orange peel type core retainer 

4 Stainless Steel Core Cutter 

5 Stainless steel fasteners to fit the core barrel to core head and core cutter 

6 Tools for assembly and dismantling 

The lengths and diameter of Gravity Corer varies with customer requirement. Most of the Gravity corers can be easily converted to Piston Corer
